Our story

Assalaamualaikum,

Many Muslims living in the West want their homes to feel modern, calm, and personal — but when it comes to Islamic décor, the options rarely fit the spaces we actually live in. Most pieces available are either ornate lanterns or souvenir-style decorations that feel disconnected from the simple interiors many of us prefer today.

Andaluces was started to create something different: objects inspired by Islamic geometric design that belong naturally in modern homes.

Across the Muslim world, geometry has long been used to shape spaces with pattern, rhythm, and light. When light passes through these forms, it creates a quiet atmosphere — the kind that makes a room feel warm, reflective, and alive in the evening.

Andaluces explores how those ideas can live in everyday interiors. The aim isn’t to recreate historical objects, but to design pieces that bring a subtle sense of pattern, light, and atmosphere into contemporary spaces.

Lighting changes how a room feels. A small source of warm light, filtered through geometry, can turn an ordinary corner of a home into something calmer and more thoughtful.

That is the experience Andaluces hopes to bring into modern homes.
